Maria
Silvia Parolin is
graduated in philosophy. She
lived in Japan where she studied
at the IOKAI SHIATSU CENTER in
Tokyo and the KANSAI IOKAI
SHIATSU CENTER in Kyoto where
she was awarded a diploma. She
later searched in depth the
theoretical and technical sides
of S. Masugana’s shiatsu of whom
she translated, with H. Ueda,
the Manuale di Diagnosi –
Diagnosis Handbook. She’s
a member of the Cultural
Institute of the Italian Shiatsu
Federation, which she also
directed, since its foundation.
She works as a shiatsu
practitioner and cooperates with
various shiatsu schools in Italy.
